2006 Shea Vineyards Pinot Noir

Yamhill Valley, Oregon

A 200 acre property situated in Oregon Yamhill AVA. A sub AVA of famed Willamette Valley

Deep Ruby. Reserved nose of blackberries, black cherry, raspberry, pepper, eucalyptus and underbrush.  Palate confirms nose. Medium to full bodied, with good acidity and fine grained tannins, this wine shows a density and intensity for those seeking a fuller bodied, New World style Pinot Noir. In the long finish, one can contemplate the terrior or simply note the hedonistic aspeck of this fine effort. Substantial enough to drink on it's own but cry's out for duck confit. Drinking nicely now but will improve with age. Drink now-2015. 92 points.
